Refractory Gunning Machine – 3000 kg – Automated
Equipment designed for being easy to use, robust and well adapted to the steel plants conditions. This kind of equipment is widely used for repairing of electric arc furnace AOD, VOD, Ladles, in hot and cold conditions. Its main advantage is achieved when furnaces are repaired in hot condition. The time required for cooling and then again heating of the furnace along with the thermal losses are prevented, thereby considerable of savings in terms of Power loss is achieved, also the availability of furnace is substantially increased.
The equipment also can be used for foamy slag application in steel melting units. The machine entails features like remote control system, vibrating silo, semi-wet nozzle and refractory gunning nozzles. The refractory material is conveyed dry from the machine to the nozzle point and hydration, as required, is done at nozzle point just before gunning.
